My Background: Engineering, CNC, and Manufacturing Leadership
Main project image

My background combines engineering education, hands-on CNC machining, large-scale production supervision, and IT systems expertise. This mix allows me to see manufacturing not only as a set of machines and processes, but as a connected, intelligent system driven by people, data, and continuous improvement.

🎯 My Background

✅ Education

I hold a Degree in Engineering Programming (RQF Level 6, UK Framework), which provided me with a solid foundation in mechanical principles, automation, and process optimisation — all essential for manufacturing excellence.

✅ Experience in CNC Machining

I have over 2 years of hands-on experience in the UK operating and programming CNC Sliding Head lathes, performing high-precision machining on non-ferrous metals with tolerances down to microns.

Additionally, I have supervised high-precision manufacturing lines, gaining a deep understanding of machining, tooling, and quality control principles.

✅ Supervisory & Leadership Experience

Before relocating to the UK, I worked as a Production Line Supervisor at LG, managing over 300 people and 100+ robotic stations in a continuous automated process.

I also have 7+ years of experience as an IT company manager, where I built and led technical teams, coordinated projects, and implemented optimisation strategies.

My leadership style is based on responsibility, rapid decision-making, and empowering people through structure and clarity.

✅ Computer Literacy & Microsoft Software

I am a confident user of Microsoft Office, Excel (advanced), and data management tools. My background in IT gives me a strong edge in software and hardware troubleshooting, digital workflow integration, and maintaining high data accuracy in production systems.

✅ SAP & Process Control Experience

I have practical experience maintaining and verifying data integrity in SAP environments, ensuring accurate routing times, cost structures, and batch size calculations.

My previous management roles have also required full responsibility for process documentation, updates, and traceability — skills directly applicable to a digital manufacturing framework.

✅ Quality & Process Documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Flow Diagrams)

Having worked in both IT and manufacturing process control, I understand how to structure and document workflows for repeatability and quality assurance.

I apply PFMEA logic and control plan methodologies to identify potential risks early and maintain production stability through proactive analysis.

✅ Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing

I actively use Lean, SMED, 5S+1, and Mistake Proofing techniques to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

I have already implemented improvements that reduced setup times and scrap rates, and I continuously seek ways to improve material flow, cell design, and process standards.

✅ Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

I use structured problem-solving methods — 5 Why’s, Fishbone Diagrams, and 8D Reports — to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.

My approach combines data-driven analysis with practical shop-floor experience.

✅ Creativity, Drive, and Initiative

I bring a unique blend of engineering precision, IT logic, and human leadership.

In fast-paced environments, I act with initiative and confidence — whether it is troubleshooting production bottlenecks, leading a shift, or integrating new processes.

My drive is always towards measurable results, sustainability, and team growth.

✅ Mentorship and Team Development

I have trained and mentored both operators and engineers, focusing on developing not just technical competence but also independent thinking and ownership.

I believe that a strong team is one that continuously learns and improves together.

💡 In summary:
My technical, managerial, and creative background — from CNC machining and process supervision to IT systems and continuous improvement — makes me fully prepared to deliver excellence as a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.
